Love this cook top

I’ve cooked with cast iron on a propane stove for 40 years and I’ll need to adjust my timing. I’m used to putting a pan on, turning the propane all the way up, doing a few short chores, (3-4 minutes) while the pan heats before I can cook. My first time using my new Cafe cook top, I put a pan on set the element to high, turned around to get the oil and within 15 second the pan was smoking. I’ve also been able to get my pans to temperatures unattainable with my old gas stove. It makes searing steaks a breeze.

Great features, and easy to clean

This my first Induction cooktop before I always had gas cooktops and I love the induction so much better. It seems to me to be more responsive than gas to control heat while cooking. The other thing I like is how fast it heats what you’re cooking. Last it is very easy to clean.

Can’t cook with multiple burners at same time

When cooking with multiple burners, all burners will shut off simultaneously while cooking. This makes it difficult to maintain even temperature throughout cooking process. You have turn them back on when they shut off without warning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
