Love, Love, Love this cooktop. It is very fast and easy to clean. I love the fact that the cooktop itself doesn't through any heat. No more cooking over a hot stove. If I had any negative, it would be the pan has to be the size of the burner so I can't use a smaller pan on a larger burner. And if I have all the burners going at high temps (which is almost never) the cooktop shuts down all the burners. Other than that, it's a great cooktop and I love it.
This is my first induction cooktop and I will never go back to regular electric or gas cooktops. Cooking is so much easier to control. I love how quickly water comes to a boil.
I love my new induction cooktop. Better than gas, better than electric and sooooo easy to clean. Cooks super fast. Water boils in mere moments. And is is really nice to look at!!!
We recently had this cooktop installed and absolutely love it. We had been looking for an induction cooktop for over a year and found this one at the right time. We previously had a ceramic cooktop that was so hard to keep clean. This is easy to as nothing burns on the cooktop. The touch controls are intuitive, and the degree of control allows me to adjust the temperature to exactly what I want. Love the built-in timer feature as well. Overall i highly recommend this GE Product.
This cooktop looks great, but shuts itself off randomly every few minutes and for that reason is extremely frustrating. I would not recommend it. The fact that something so broken can cost so much is ridiculous.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Pitboss8881 - We appreciate you taking time to write a review on your induction cooktop. For best results, use a pan that matches the element size. Pans should have a flat bottom and be at least 5 inches across the bottom. Cookware larger than the element ring may be used; however, heat will only be created above the burner.
The key to testing workable cookware is that a magnet must be able to stick and hold to bottom of pan. There are many types of cookware that cannot be used on the induction: Aluminum or aluminum clad, copper or copper clad, aluminum foil, glass/ceramic and some stainless steel products (because these will not attract and hold a magnet).
