Easy to use

We are very happy we chose to go with an induction cooktop. As it is in an island with seating, I didn't want to use gas near where people are seated. The cooktop is intuitive to use and I am very impressed with the responsiveness of the various heat levels. It is so much faster than a traditional electric stove and like gas, responds immediately to the change in requested temp. Water boils quickly and food stops cooking when the burner is turned off. The glass top is sleek looking and easy to clean. To make cleanup even easier you can put a thin tee towel under the pan to catch splatters as that doesn't affect the ability of the pan to conduct heat. Remove the towel and throw it in the laundry, You have a clean cooktop and you are ready for the next creative recipe!

Great cooking experience, bad cooktop design!

I appreciate the cooking capabilities of this cooktop. I was upgrading from my 11 year old GE Profile Induction that died.
After installation, I was putting away my pots under the cooktop in the cabinet and BARELY bumped the edge of the cooktop and it CHIPPED!! I question why anyone would bevel a cooktop?! That makes it structurally less stable than a square cut, especially when you are in an area where bumps can happen.
I’m soooooo upset that this happened less than 24 hours after installation. I’ve managed to cook on my other cooktop for so many years without issue that I never would have thought a glass edge would risk breaking. Now I’m just paranoid that a) I’ll chip it again—or my kids/husband/guest cook will or b) I will cut my finger on the sharp edge now. (I acknowledge I will need to fill the space with something to prevent this from happening. Trying to figure out what)

Hi there, thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. We are really let down to hear that you already chipped the glass cooktop on day one, and we can definitely imagine how frustrating this would be, and we are so sorry for the headache.

We would like to look into this issue for you. For safety reasons, we would recommend that you discontinue use of your cooktop until this issue is addressed, and we have created a case for you in our system. We will be reaching out soon with some additional steps. Please be on the lookout for an email from us. Also, we will absolutely be passing this along to our product teams for further review, and we appreciate your insight.

If you ever need any help from us in the future, please feel free to reach out. -Elliot@Cafe

Elegant & Efficient Cooktop, but Very Noisy
on November 1, 2022

After extensive research we've decided to go induction for my kitchen renovation. I picked this particular model based on previous reviews and its features and appearance. We've been using it for almost 3 months now, so here's the pros and cons from us:
Pros:
- This cooktop looks super sleek. The minimalistic style goes with everything else I have. Best part it barely took up any of my cabinet space, so I could fit in two gigantic 36-in drawers underneath it. Extremely functional for a modern, compact kitchen.
- It's extremely efficient. The mid-sized "burner" can heat up tap water to boiling in seconds. Plus because it's induction, the controls respond to your changes immediately.
- The glass top is very easy to clean. So far I haven't noticed any scratches on the glass, and we have been mainly using cast iron cookwares.
Con:
- The main issue we have with it is the noise. So far the only kind of cookware that cooks quietly is cast iron. We've tried high quality stainless steel clad cookware from Zwilling (which made me loose hope in All-Clad as well), as well as multiple induction-compatible options from Costco. Anything other than cast iron makes a high-pitch buzzing noise that drives our dog crazy... If you use a cheap pan, chances are the buzzing is going to be so loud that gives you a headache. Right now we are using antique Griswald pans, and planning on investing in a set of Le Creuset down the road.
Looking back I might have went with gas, if I had known it would be soooo loud. But there is a cure if you're ok with cast iron cookware.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed getting to try the product using the app and the smart pan, and was very impressed with how it “knew” when the food was cooked, when to prompt the next step, etc.

Smart phone meet smart stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove could make even the worst cook, a Julia Child Chef in no time! I love that the stove doesn’t get hot without the pots and pans on to magnetize it. Little hands reaching up will not get hurt with this smart stove. The option of the pan and the stove talking with my IPad could be a game changer. The only draw back is that it is a flat top and I do can my own produce. Flat tops and canning don’t usually go well together.

Looks really sleek and modern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven to me has a little to many smart features for me. I think that for the average household the pots and pans that you have to have to connect with the cooktop is a little much for me. I also think that needing batteries for the pans would be a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cue feature would be great for my children and husband. I like the idea of having a “teacher” help you with the cooking.
