Great product - could be improved

GE website claims guaranteed fitment when going from 30” electric to gas. We updated from Jenn-air downdraft. The width dimension is good but the depth of the GE Cafe is 20-3/4” vs 22” of the Jenn-air or other similar ones.
I read reviews where someone did the exact same upgrade and they claimed a small gap showed between the rim and granite.
I had to have a granite company cut a 3/4” X 22-3/4” piece of granite And
glue to the opening so that the cooktop would be supported on the back side.

I really love this cooktop. The 5 burners make it super-efficient and the stainless steel i so much easier to clean than the ceramic top I had before.

Love everything but cleaning it

The range of burners and their output is fantastic. The gas lock knob is a great safety feature for anyone with children. The only thing I don't like is cleaning it. There are large openings beneath the knobs where food debris can fall in and there is also slots on the back side of the housing that the knobs sit on top of that debris can also get into.

Love our cooktop!

We just changed to our new gas stovetop and love it! We can boil quickly & sauté easily. My husband loves the grill feature and has made us pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches. So easy to clean!
It came with a broken grill. The appliance center was quick to respond and we had a new one in a week.

Beautiful and quality

I have had these appliances for about 4 months. They were the jumping off point for a remodel. Everyone that has seen them comments on how beautiful they are. It doesn’t stop there. All of the appliances work like a dream. I would highly recommend this product
