Love my cooktop, not the cheap knobs

I would rate the cooktop a 4, but a 1 for the cheap plastic knobs that look like stainless steel. I bought my cooktop in 2020 and
installed in spring of 2021 and 2 of my knobs
are already damaged/peeling. I would expect quality knobs for the price I paid.

Rust

I have reported rusting issues with the grill and caps and G&E have yet to reply. Cooktop is just 2 months old, very minimal usage and wash with soap and water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend spraying the burners or wiping them down with vegetable or canola oil after using them. This should help protect the cast iron burners and keep them from rusting. I bought this beautiful cooktop after replacing my old one (different brand) of 17 years. It doesn't clean well, and after a year I needed to replace knobs because finish was coming off. Now all the labels around the knobs are coming off. I do not use any harsh products or scrubs on it. Not so beautiful anymore. In addition, there is not enough room to actually use all the burners at one time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stovetop leaks gas

I was so happy with the looks and features of this stovetop...at first. Then we started to notice a gas smell coming from below it at all times and on top after using it. We called the company, and two weeks later they sent out a technician. He found that two of the five burners leaked gas. We have now been waiting another two weeks for replacement parts to come in. So, in the almost three months we’ve owned this stovetop, we haven’t even been able to use it for one month...and counting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I found this to be the BEST stove top I have ever purchased over more expensive ones!!
It is as easy to clean as it is beautiful and the design is made to help keep you safe and easier to wipe down! MOST importantly, I can now use all Burners at the same time!!!

Nice working range

The only reason why i give three stars is because the cast iron grates are discoloring. Ive always owned gas ranges/cooktops and never seen this before
