The quality is poorly made my knobs have metaled, the cushions to hold the grates fall off.
The name brand and price not worth it I would not but it again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looking and works perfectly

Works very well and looks great. We love the LED lights under the knobs, which make it very clear which burner is on. The cooktop also comes with a cast iron griddle, which we didn't know... so that was a nice bonus! Burners light up right away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Every this is good but Cooktop Knob for GE Cafe Gas Stove are made of plastic and if Hot cooking pot touch to Knob it melts. That is bed part of this cook top.

Knobs don’t match other appliances

The burners rusted within two months and it scratched very easily

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Quality and Unacceptable Performance
I am beyond frustrated with this GE Profile gas cooktop. I purchased it two years ago, and from day one it has been nothing but problems.
The burners nobs started burning immediately. Now, after only two years — and very light use — one of the knobs is completely not working. This is unacceptable.
I am not someone who cooks heavily every day. I am a single person household and use the cooktop occasionally. How is it possible that a “reputable” brand like GE produces a product that fails this quickly?
For the price I paid, I expected durability, reliability, and quality. Instead, I received a defective and poorly made appliance that is already breaking down. A cooktop should last many years — not fall apart after minimal use.
This experience has seriously damaged my trust in GE as a company. I am extremely disappointed and honestly angry. A brand that markets itself as premium should stand behind its products and ensure basic functionality beyond two years.
I expect GE to take responsibility for this faulty product and provide a proper solution.

Great Burners - Inferior Stainless Surface

Have been using this cooktop for about 2 weeks. The burners and griddle are all great and what were hoped for. The quality of the stainless is far inferior to what was replaced after 7 hard years of use. Can't imagine the finish of this cooktop maintaining any level of beauty very long. Extremely susceptible to scratching - watch out when removing or replacing the grills after cleaning.
Perhaps the Monogram would have been a better choice. I imagine in a couple years we may find out...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
