Great features/functions

We bought this to replace a very old cooktop already installed in our "new" 15 yr old house. It works well and looks great. Took a bit of adjustment for me since previous cooktop was gas. Only small issue for me is cleanup. Spatter shows up quickly and surface cleanup not as forgiving as grates on gas stove.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect burner layout!

This is a very nice cooktop. The power boil feature really works and the sync burners are so great for griddles. I love all the different size burner options. The stainless knobs and trim make it very handsome.

I purchased this cooktop along with four other GE appliances for our kitchen remodel. This is the first glass top I've ever used, and after reading some comments online, I was a little hesitant and concerned that I had already purchased it. I've been using the cooktop daily for about a month, and I have experienced zero problems. I did think I had scratched it but was pleased to find it was just a mark that wiped off easily with the a little bit of the cleanser that came along with the product. The burners heat up very quickly. I love the variety of features which allow using the small or large burners within each spot as well as the dual burner set that can be used for griddles. Having five separate cooking areas will prove beneficial when cooking for larger family meals. I was disappointed to read online (after purchase) that I should not use an iron skillet. I found other comments, however, that explained it was important to use caution as to avoid scratching, as well as use a lower heat setting. I followed these suggestions and have used the iron skillet without any problems. Happy with the purchase!

Love it! Beautiful! Cooks great! Read reviews about difficulty with cleaning. If you follow cleaning instructions, you can maintain the beauty of your stovetop. Yes it is a little labor intensive (5 minutes), but worth it. The key is that you have to let it cool completely before trying to clean it. One other thing is that at our time of purchase the website measurements were not accurate. I don't know if that has been changed or not. The actual stovetop is 29 7/8" X 20 7/8" which meant we had to purchase a filler so that it would fit existing hole. I also checked all of my cookware to make sure there were no rough bottoms as not to scratch the cooktop.

This cooktop heats up fast and keeps the heat for a while after the burner is shutoff. It's style makes the kitchen look clean and modern.
