I like the location of the knobs.

This was a replacement of another GE stove top that was not as good. The knobs finally made sense in relation to where the burners were.

Coming of age!

My first electric cooktop replacing the original 50 year + electric four burner stove top. I am indeed enjoying all the special features: the five radiant cooking elements (the sync burners and the saftey feature of the control lock capability sold me). The red LED backlit knobs is another safety feature I greatly appreciate for 'colorful' reasons (no story telling on me here). The beauty of the sleek black, glass surface (so easy to clean) has sparked the desire to update my entire kitchen as well as more importantly the update of our kitchen electric wiring.
Thank's to the brilliant minds that engineered this wonderful product.

Cooktop was installed April 19th. It's the only one I had found that actually has 5 cooking surfaces (usually the 5th one is only a warmer) for a 30" and I'm very happy with this cooktop! Cooks evenly, love the quick boil, and cleans up much better than I thought it would. (I did pretreat with the cleaner provided.) I absolutely LOVE all the different options depending on pan size and love the combo burners for the griddle!! The only CON - it is glass so will scratch easily if you're not careful...do NOT scoot or slide anything across the surface.

The cooktop heats up well and evenly. Having multiple size burners is a nice option-makes cooking much more efficient. You will, however, spend a lot of your time keeping the surface clean. Pretty much every time you use it-you'll be cleaning it. The power boil setting is really nice. Just wish someone would invent a cooktop that you didn't have to clean so often.

I would rather have the knobs on the side than the front. Having the large burner in the back is awkward for stirring and adding ingredients. I am very careful with the pans but they still leave marks on the surface sometimes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great cooktop!

Love having 5 burners, 2 of them having the small/large burner option. I wasn't sure about having the controls front and center, based on some reviews prior to my purchase indicating they get in the way, but the the placement is actually great and I prefer it to the side controls on my old cooktop.
