Black surface is a nightmare to clean

I purchased this in April of this year. The day it was installed was the last time I saw a flawless appliance. It looks sleek but it is a nightmare to clean. I spend 20-25 minutes EACH night trying to get swipe marks and incidental spots off of it. I use my smaller appliances whenever possible to avoid having to clean it. Go with grey or white. My old profile was a grey pebble surface and it did not always look like I forgot to clean it. If I could trade this in I would do so in a heartbeat. Love the burner layout etc. but HATE the black surface.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek and stylish

I bought this stovetop to upgrade my other stovetop I stayed with the same GE brand because these appliances are always dependable. An added plus was that it has a sleek profile and evenly spaced burners so it maximizes space!
I would recommend this to a friend!

okay but do not like the knobs in front

Great looking Cooktop!

I replaced my old GE Profile ccoktop with another when I swapped out my kitchen appliances. It is great looking, and easy to use.

Broke after a month

Lights stopped working after a month and horrible to clean. Tried to return it and GE would not allow me to.

It cooks evenly and doesn’t take long to heat up. My only complaint is the surface has been left with spots that won’t come off, even with gentle cleaning.
