We have enjoyed the cook top for the past few months. However cleaning under and around the knobs adds extra work to the cleaning process. A touch class top is a better option. Unfortunately yesterday (May 19, 2020) the lock alarm buzzes when you turn the burner on even when the lock is in the off position. I have tried to reset the breaker but the cook top lock will not reset. We cannot get a repair appointment for 10 days. I am hoping to resolve this issue quickly we are faithful GE customers.

This cooktop has good features. Double eyes and even 2 eyes that work together. I t is hard to keep clean especially around knobs.

Overall good stovetop

Love the look of the stove top, easy to use and clean and heats up quickly, however, the lights that glow underneath the knobs that indicate on/off stay on for 3 of my knobs, and I need to pull up on them after every use to turn them off. Installer came to repair and oiled them, which fixed it for about 2 weeks, but now starting to happen again. Not a big deal bc it doesn’t affect how the stove works, but annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A very nice cooktop

This cooktop has a nice clean appearance, a good choice to give the kitchen a more updated look. It's relatively easy to keep it looking good as new with a cooktop cleaning solution every now and then, and a scraper for tougher spills. Only disappointments--the rapid boil feature wasn't any faster and one control knob doesn't pop up completely after being turned to the "off" position.
