Does not Self Clean very well

Have had for 2 years, seems to work well but cannot get the steam of self clean to work well. I'm not messy which makes it more annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my new oven. Nice and roomy. Can have multiple racks at a time. Product reviewers online said cool down fan noisy. So frankly I was somewhat concerned. Mine is NOT noisy... I love my new oven.

Oven racks screech.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this product. Having owned 6 ovens in my lifetime, I never have come across this extremely annoying problem. I don't think that I will be able to stand it. Oiling regularly is absurd.

Hello Jasia - Thank you for taking time to write a review on your oven. We are sorry to hear of this difficulty with your oven racks. After cleaning, your oven racks / shelves may become so clean that they do not slide easily. To make the racks slide more easily and eliminate the screeching sound, after each cleaning dampen your fingers with a small amount of cooking oil. Rub the oil lightly over the sides of the racks where they come in contact with the rack supports.

Excellent appliance

This was a replacement oven for the builder's GE model that was original to the house. It fit flawlessly with no trim or alterations required.
We appreciate the WiFi connect feature to turn the oven on when we are headed home so it can preheat, or to monitor the status without having to walk to the kitchen. I also like the multi rack setting so we can cook multiple sheets of cookies simultaneously.
I have found GE to be very reliable over the past 14 years, and we replaced our entire kitchen with the GE Cafe series.

I've been cooking for nearly 50 years and in those years I've had a lot of different ovens, but this one is by far the best! There is nothing to complain about on this one. It works beautifully. Broiling is even, temperature is perfectly on target, has all the options for various kinds of cooking in the oven that anyone could want, it's spacious, heats pretty quickly, and the light is big and bright. If I ever move again, this is the oven I will install in my new kitchen. It has been installed now for about 2 months and so far, it's perfect! Expensive, and worth every penny.
