Wonderful!

I had wished for the last 31 years that I had a gas stove but with this new stovetop I will never wish for it again! This stovetop is incredibly fast in heating, easy to clean and I love that I can lock it for easy cleaning and for safety. I did have to buy some new pots to accommodate it ( not all if mine worked) but that was a small price to pay for the luxury of a stovetop that makes cooking a pleasure once again!

We purchased this two months ago and it has been wonderful, so much better than our previous cooktop. So much easier to clean and heating control is excellent.

Rough start, Works fine, not fast on the boil.

For a cooktop that was top rated by Consumer Report, I have been a little disappointed. First after one month, the left side quit working. GE responded quickly and replaced about 3/4 of the guts of the device...apparently this is a known service issue...but only handled on failure. The more serious issue is how slowly the cooktop brings a pot of water to a boil. I don't find any burner works any faster with any size pan. For normal cooking, the cook top is quick and highly responsive. Verdict: OK product, but next time I'll do more research.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love the look and performance of this induction cook top. We are not able to have a gas appliance and this is definitely the next best thing!

Like cooking with gas only better

We purchased this cooktop about a month ago. We went in looking to get a gas cooktop but ended up with this one. Boy am I glad we did. Water boils almost immediately and everything else comes out great on this top and it is so easy to clean up. In addition, it came with a great set of cookware that I absolutely love to use.

I have had this cooktop for 2 months and I love it. It heats up the food quickly and can control the heat of the burner, immediately!!!! Wish I would have bought this sooner. it has made cooking enjoyable once again !!!!! Very easy to clean !!!
