I like the cook top but I am not 100% satisfied

My cooktop was installed in June and it had to have warranty done right away. I will say that GE warranty program is very good. They replaced the parts needed without any fuss. It has been fixed, but seems to cook hot - on medium my pans will smoke! Only time I have cooked on High is to rapid boil, which is an awesome feature. I have two nice pressure cooking pans that are magnetic that won't work with the cooktop, which is a disappointment. I do love how easy this cooktop is to clean. I like the cook top but I am not 100% satisfied with it.

Love This Cooktop

I absolutely love this cooktop. I bought it specifically because it was induction and it has 19 power settings rather than 9 or 10 of other models. The only isue I had was not with the cooktop but with the griddle pan that came with the cooktop. It is a little warped and doesn't sit flat on the cooktop, causing the burners to shut down. I have contacted customer support about this. All of my other cookware works fine. I especially like the control over the heating with all of these power settings allowing slow cooking without burning.

Worked great - for a little while

I got one of the lemons. It took all four burners to heat a pot of soup as the burners kept shutting off after getting hot. The GE rep tried to tell me they were supposed to turn off after getting to a certain temperature, but I've never had to use all the burners for one pot. After I convinced her I didn't think this was right, she scheduled a repairman to come out nearly two weeks out. Guess I can cook my food over the fireplace until they show up.
Anyway, I've learned my lesson. No more GE appliances.

This stove top is so easy to use. Simple to keep clean. As a senior the stove is very easy to check to make sure it is off. It has safety features for us seniors.

Previous induction cook top from other manufacturer failed after only 4 years. Purchased this on CR rating and GE's high rating for reliability. Very happy and has more useful features then other brands.

Fast delivery thru Lowes. Received last week and was installed today. So far
it boils water. Can't wait to cook on it soon. It looks really modern and sleek
and won't show streaks like the black ones.
