Cooking used to be enjoyable

I've had this cooktop for about three years now. Over the past year I've been having an issue where the large burner will randomly turn off in the middle of cooking. Then, if you try to turn it back on, it keeps turning off again. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all, but most of the times I have to switch to a different burner. The problem has gotten worse and worse.
On top of that, getting the slightest bit of water on the cook top causes the controls to go haywire. It's super frustrating when you're in the middle of cooking and something splashes on to the controls and messes everything up. You would think they would design the sensors of a cooktop to not be sensitive to water like that.
When the appliance does work correctly, it's great. Overall I'm happy with my switch from gas to induction. It's just this product in particular that I have a problem with. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this product considering how expensive it was. I'm out of warranty so it seems I have to deal with it until I can get a new one. Cooking used to be enjoyable. It is no longer enjoyable.
