Nice but...

It is nice color and works well. Gave four starts because I am very Frustrated with the layout of the burners. Wish I had done my research better before purchasing. Size of the burners matter and these do not work well for me. The large one is very large and hard to find pans for it and the two on the left work well but are too close together for the medium pans you have to use. The small simmer one is fine. I really would prefer a different placement of the burners. Cannot imagine trying to use all 4 at the same time. If you have room go for the 36" version. I wish I did. (I didn't know they had custom cookware - I guess you need to buy that too for it to work well. Just saw that as I was writing this review). GE in gerral is a great line and I refer to my clients all the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We waited way too long to get this cooktop, but it was worth it. We had a GE induction and the glass broke, so we needed something fast, but my husband was set on getting this one, he was right, again. The only issue I have is my small saucepan is too small for the smallest element.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great purchase

We love this magnetic induction cooktop. Pans heat quickly and cook evenly. Cooktop so much cooler than old cooktop and much easier to clean. We are very happy with our purchase and have recommended this top to others considering a change

Best cooktop I've ever cooked with

It heats up SO fast, is precise, and super easy to clean, and it never gets hot except under the pot/pan.

This is a beautiful cooktop - I love how it looks. For the most part it functions great. However there are 2 things I see as design flaws: 1) The size of the burners doesn't work well for the pan sizes we usually use (my favorite fry pan is 10.5" and is too small for the large burner but too big for the other burners). Perhaps we're just not normal and this is a non-issue for everyone else? 2) The gap between the cooktop and countertop surface is hard to clean. I'm nervous I'll chip the glass though it hasn't happened yet.
