My favorite bag!

I bought this back when it was a kickstarter and was so glad I did. I love this bag. It’s great for travel and it can hold a ton of gear. I gotta learn to carry less stuff cause it does get quite heavy! It’s very well made I haven’t had any issues with it, and I’ve had it for years now!

V2 is better, but this is still good.

I loved this when I got it, but when PD came out with v2 that blew this out of the water. It's more streamlined for carry, storage, etc. I still use both. My only complaint for BOTH versions is that it does not stand up on it's own. It constantly falls over and can fall off a chair, bench or table and ruin whatever is inside -- which is often my camera!! Please redesign the bottom of the bag so it sits up and is solid. Big design miss!

Perfect for travel

This backpack has become my primary travel bag and perfect for storing my electronics and clothing etc. It has been a carry on bag for me since it is easy enough to stow under an airplane seat as well as in the overhead bins. I have sold several friends on this bag, and they all use it for commuting and travel. The ease of access to the inside and the external pockets are the big selling points. The 40L size is perfect for weekend trips and fits all that I need. The only issue I’ve had is that the arm straps’ pivot points have gotten very squeaky. The noise does happen as I am wearing it, and I’m looking to address that somehow. Other than that, the bag has been worth the money and has become a primary bag.

A bag that does it all. I’m not a photographer but have found this bag to be the best ever EDC. Pacific NW rain? Bring it.

I have used this bag for years and it still looks new. So easy to remove laptop at the airport (when we could travel!) and so versatile.

I’ve had several of these bags in different colors and sizes and they simply the best.
They fit all the things, they are comfortable as heck, and the fabric has that sort of tactile ASMR quality to it that you get from expensive items. I normally carry a large DSLR, 2 lenses, a change of clothes, and my toiletries in here when traveling and the bag is just perfect for almost that.

A Classic and Still My Go-To Bag

I splurged for this backpack nearly 5 years ago and it remains my go-to camera bag, both for travel and most times I have my camera gear on me around town. It's really the product that first drew me to Peak Design, and the degree of thought that goes into the overall design and engineering of their products. I used to review photo and tech gear for a living, so I grew accustomed to having a pretty good selection of bags at my fingertips — and I still went and bought the Everyday Backpack. It's the perfect size (20l) for the basics — laptop/tablet, mirrorless camera body, a few lenses, tripod, cords, mic, battery backups, basic travel necessities and a bit of room to spare — yet it's somehow pretty compact for a photo backpack. And it's super easy to adjust the configuration once you've reached your destination, to set up for whatever you need to shoot and/or explore a new place. I love the little touches — down to the key holder that slides down the side carry handle and into the side pocket, perfect for stowing keys before passing through airport security. I traveled extensively with it, and the only issue was that one of the side zippers was about to fail after 4 years. Peak customer service was exceptional and they quickly replaced the bag for me so that I had a new one ready to go before my next trip.
