7 Years and going strong!

Bought on Kickstarter in 2016 and it has been my daily commute/travel bag since. If I need to replace it, I'll buy another in a heartbeat.
I fly about once a month with a carry-on, so my backpack goes under my seat. The 30l is large enough for a spare change of clothes, laptop, book, toilet kit, and compact jacket. The wings hold all the cables and other day to day stuff I need. The external strap system is super useful and seamlessly disappears when you don't need it, but can still carry a bunch of stuff.
There are minor signs of wear that you'd expect after a year or two, but this bag is 7 years old and still looks nearly new except for a few specific spots.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best backpack I've ever had

Honestly, since the very first day I've used it, I've realized that this is the best backpack I've ever owned. It's been already about 6-7 years since I got it and I'm still using it and for the most part it still looks like as if I got from there store just yesterday

TSA guy says every backpack needs side opening

As per the title, a couple of times the TSA (airport security) is looking for something in my pack and they start at the top opening. I then intervene and open the entire side up using the zip and they can peer in at everything. They love it.

Still looks great after 5 years+

I got my everyday backpack when it was a campaign on indiegogo. Nowadays I see a lot of people with the same bag (or the newer version), which just proves it is a great design.
There is some visible wear and tear around the lower back part, probably due to the constant pressure and friction rubbing against my back when walking with it. I'm not sure if this has been addressed in the newer versions, but that would be my only gripe with this one. The bearing-like joints on the arm straps started making some noise after a few years too, but this was easily remedied with some machine lubricant. I still really like these joints actually.

I bought my first Everyday Backpack a few years ago while living in Japan. It was like I had never had a backpack before and was buying a backpack for the first time in my life. There were so many pockets, side pockets, compartments, laptop area, keyring tether. I was blown away but the details, the quality, the thought behind it. Whatever backpack I had had in the past was instantly downgraded to plastic bag level. Whatever backpack I had had before felt like a cheap copy of what a REAL backpack should be. I was so in love with it that soon after I bought the smaller version of it. Then I bought the travel bag, the tripod, the iPhone case. I got addicted. And then there is the commitment of the company with recycling, environment, etc. I cant recommend it enough. Oh did I mention how excellent it is for airport security with all the special pockets for laptop, side pockets, back strap to wrap around your luggage's handle? It's amazing. Yes it is more expensive than your average backpack, but it is so so so much better. And it is for life! Just go on and buy one for you and one for your loved one (like I did) and be happy. You're welcome.

Unbelievably Good!

I've had my pack for a few years now and could NOT be happier. I've traveled with it all over the world, have stuffed it to the gills (with a camera, lenses, laptop and cashews!), and it remains the best backpack OR camera case I've ever had! The materials are top-notch and the creativity used in engineering is off the charts — figuring out how to maximize every square inch of this bag. It's actually crazy that it still looks brand new. My only wonder is why Peak updated their original design. Someday I may be fortunate enough to find out!
