Great bag for school

Just bought a bag for my kid in high school. So flexible He can adjust everything he needs.
And it has a life warranty. Hogh scool will be a real test :)

Great but..

The overall built quality is great. Thoughtful design choices and flexible use of space.
The only 3 things I would like to see improved. The outside material, which is rough like sandpaper and literally peels of my skin and leaves ugly marks on the outer shell. The laptop compartment which could use a little more space. When I put in my Lenovo Legion laptop, the IPad pro does not fit anymore. Not everybody is a Apple fan and beefy laptops are thick.
Lastly the two shoulder straps seem to get pulled towards my biceps and poke me like crazy. I need to use the breast belt to avoid that.

No lie, amazing everyday functionality!

I bought the Everyday Backpack in 2017 and have been using it ever since. I've used it for my camera equipment, my schoolbooks for college, and just traveling in general with no signs of wear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had the old version and the new one is really better . a lot of small things and details make the difference starting fot the shaping os the upper ... great !!

One of the best bags I ever owned

I've had this bag for over a year and can confidently say it's one of the best bags I ever owned. The versatility, quality, and ease of access make it very difficult for me to choose any other brand over Peak Design in the future.
The only two gripes I have with it are 1) the shoulder straps make a squeaky sound when you carry it on your bag because of how it's held together, and 2) the size is actually a bit smaller than I anticipated. I would definitely go for at least a 30L if you plan on picking up one of these bags.

Best suited for camera gear

I bought this backpack for what it says in the product name: everyday use. It would be something I take to the office, out on short hikes with the camera, family outings as a diaper bag -- you name it. The "shelf system" as I'll call it is a unique way of organizing and packing the bag, but I find it only works great in certain situations. If I have longer or bulkier items, I struggle to fit them. Removing the organizers, even though it's just Velcro, is for whatever reason too much of a hassle for me, so I opt to leave them in place, and resort to folding them around to accommodate my gear. Ultimately, I think it's best for hauling camera gear, which honestly isn't too surprising when you see how the full lineup of Peak Design equipment, and how this thing is marketed. I have owned this for several years and the build quality has held up well, but I certainly do not use it everyday, driven largely by the pandemic upending my normal routine, but also due in part to struggling with out to use the internal organization system of the bag. I'll also point out that the bag is on the heavier side, and I really wish it was much, much lighter. This makes it less comfortable when commuting to the office on the bike (which I do), plus the bag is not completely weatherproof, so you need to cover it with a 3rd-party rain cover if you commute on a bike in the rain, which is a bit of a hassle.

Received about 2 weeks ago in time for my trip to Ireland! The pack has been great easy access to items love the luggage strap for when you are attaching it to your roller bag handle

Love the bag. Plenty of room. Compartments are fantastic. I don't carry as much camera gear ok trips anymore (kids stuff takes up more space now), but the compartments to keep things organized is still fantastic. Stylish and functional bag. I get random compliments, or the head nod from people with the same one.
