Perfect little athletes

This is the perfect basketball goal for little ones. It is very well made and sturdy, and you don't have to worry about it falling over on your child when used correctly. I did have a very hard time getting the pole into the base even after trying what Fisher Price recommended. After lots of soap and luck I was able to get it in. So far it is holding up nicely, and I expect it to last for years to come.

Difficult to assemble

I must agree with the review by Mommy2Boys77. I bought mine several years ago and now would like to go back to the 3 foot height for newest grandchild. There is no way I can force that "inner post" into the front square socket.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Basketball for a growing child

This was giving to my son for Christmas 3 years ago and he is now eight. This is great for children 3 years & up. The basketball can go as tall as 6 feet. He loves it and it is perfect. Fits perfectly in his room and can be played outside as well. His friends enjoy playing with him as well. He has a cousin who is 20 years old who comes over and play with him. It is a hit. Just wish the ball was a little bigger but other then that it is awesome.

Have two boys 12 and 16. Bought it twelve years ago and still works fine with teenagers dunking on it. Very sturdy!

HORRIBLE!!!

My son received this as a birthday gift for his second birthday. We were very excited about it until we tried assembling it. It was impossible!! I don't mean difficult...I mean IMPOSSIBLE to get the poles into the base!!! We tried the tricks in the instructions...bar soap...dish soap...I put all my wait into it and still...NOTHING! I'm sorry to say that this will be going back to the store and we now have a VERY upset little 2 year old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A fun toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves this basketball hoop. She has been playing with is since we got it. I also love that we will be able to use it for a while. The set up wasn't as easy as I thought it would be but wasn't too bad.

AWESOME HOOP

Not sure about the mom who left the "HORRIBLE" review because if our two year old was upset about a gift he might not be getting another one for awhile. This hoop is the real deal. Works great with ability adjust the height. Our little guy turned two and we stepped up from the little tikes one which was not adjustable. Should of just gotten this one first. AWESOME HOOP AND LITTLE MAN LOVES IT!!!!

Failed below the basket in a couple days

Bought this for my 2 year old triplets and it failed below the base within a couple of days. Yes they do hang on it as kids do. Impossible to keep them from doing it but I would think this would be considered while manufacturing.
It WAS difficult to assemble but with some effort it wasn't that bad.
Only comes with ONE ball which makes it difficult for more than one child.
However, they really have fun using it and it still works but sags a bit now.
