[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked to see how big this toy was when it arrived on my doorstep. Major wow factor for my three year old from the box size alone! The instructions were super easy and I was able to snap it together very quickly so he could get started playing. He has always loved dinosaurs, he even roars at other kids in greeting, so although he's not see the Jurassic Park movies he still loves this toy. He has been playing with it nonstop since we opened it about a week ago. The dinosaur (at 2.5 feet tall) is the star of the show with its light up eyes and roaring sounds, but he's gotten a lot of mileage out of the platform and the little jeep with the man figure, too. He's getting all his toys involved, using the platform for things like parking all his little cars, and imagines story lines with them and the included jeep toy. Great toy, and I think it would make a wonderful Santa gift under the tree!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for my son for his 4th birthday because he loves dinosaurs. I was so surprised how big the dinosaur is. Very easy to put together so he could start playing with it right away. He loves the fact that the eyes change color!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was absolutely so excited to play with the Imaginext Jurassic Rex. The awesome features like the lunging and chomping of the rex. The Rex also cool color changing eyes and a cool launch pad.

This was the only toy my five year old had to have for Christmas. Cost me over $100, which I didn’t want to spend on one toy, but I couldn’t see him be disappointed on Christmas morning so I gave in and got it. The handle that opens the mouth broke before it was played with for even a month. Its just sat in my basement since then and now is in the trash to go out. Very disappointed and a complete waste of money. I hate giving bad reviews and rarely ever do. It’s a great idea for a toy just wish it wouldn’t of broke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Favorite toy ever!

Got this for my son for Christmas last year- six months later it is still his favorite toy ever! Amazing features and durability! Very very impressed and my son still plays with it every day!!
