Just purchased my third toothbrush since 2001. This is the best toothbrush ever, simple and amazingly thorough. Price is reasonable, and have purchased multiple others as gifts for my grandchildren, as healthy teeth and gums are a lifetime gift. Highly recommend this product.

Love mine

I've used mine for 6 months. It's lightweight, is inexpensive, and works well. I prefer to use the Deep Sweep replacement heads, because they're larger so brushing is faster. To make the battery last longer, drain it completely every 6 months. -

This is my first electric toothbrush and I am very pleased. It leaves my teeth feeling like i left the dentist. I can feel the floss peices going in between my teeth so i know im getting in between the teeth too not just a regular brush. Only complaints is you cant brush your tongue with it so i just use a regular toothbrush for that and also i have to charge it every other day to feel its maximum strength each time since i use ot twice a day.

Disappointed

My previous Oral B electric toothbrush finally died after 6 years so I immediately replaced it with this product expecting the same quality. After only 3 months, it died and will not charge. It appears that I am not the only one that has had this problem. I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing.

My new Oral-B Vitality toothbrush stoped in the middle of brushing and will not turn on. My second one. The first one stopped and would not turn on so I returned it for another one. Now its stopped and will not turn on. I put it back on the charger and it still will not start. How do you restart it?

Nothing better for cleaning your teeth

I've owned 2 of these over the past 14 years. I'm still using my second one. I keep it on the charger when not in use. Never had a problem with it. I always get good reviews when I go to the dentist. I once went a few years between dental visits and they were shocked at how clean my teeth were. Said there was very little plaque build up. I will definitely buy another vitality when my current brush battery wears out.

I have used Oral B electric toothbrushes for years. They did a great job of removing calculus and clearing up my life-long gingivitis. When the battery on my last toothbrush stopped holding a charge, I bought a Vitality. I didn't care about the "bells & whistles" on more expensive models, and I was very pleased with Vitality's price. But the speed on the Vitality was low enough that soon I noticed calculus forming on my teeth. Also my old toothbrush held a good charge for a week (til the battery started failing), while the Vitality requires constant charging. I don't know if the Vitality I bought is defective or it's just inferior to my previous toothbrush (maybe a 3000). Unfortunately I can find no specs about speeds for any of Oral B's electric toothbrushes.
