[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice smooth grip to the Braun Series 5 electric shaver . Nice part about the shaver well there is more then one just one nice thing.You can use it in water showering so when you shave just rinse and get out no real clean up.This shaved pivot so it goes with the curves of your body nice.The shaver don't pull your hair as it shaving you that's a Big deal to me I tried others and some would pull my hair while shaving.This is why I give it such a high score.I told my brother Dave about it an he said he was happy for me but nothing more.My wife loves it she said it would save us on Razer which is an a saver on money. I would recommend this shave because it has
great features it has and a very close shave.While on the go it even has a carting bag excellent.You'll have to try this just so you know this product deserve to be a 5 star an your face deserve to be smooth close cut shave and this shaver can do that for you

Excellent Cut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a Braun electric shaver for the past five years and have always been pleased. Braun has done it again with the series 5. The cut is tremendously smooth and close. The design is sleek so it is easy to travel with. The cleaning procedure is a snap by rinsing the shaver under a faucet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using a Norelco and to shave my face. But, I've heard some good things about the Braun line. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to shave my neck. The Norelco seems like you need 10 passes to get-r-done. But this Braun cleans it off in 2 or 3. I have bad memories of those old Remington square electrics that used to rip your neck up and leave a rash. This new Braun is amazing. Quick, clean, and gentle. The head sort of floats, so the weird angles are no problem. Charges up in only 5 minutes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start by saying I have never in my life used an electric razor. I'm 40 years old and have always used a manual razor. I read the instructions and and then read them again because honestly I had no idea how to use it! I tried it for the first time dry with 2 day stubble. Worked pretty good! Got a lot closer than I thought it would and didn't "pull" hair like I was scared it would. I'll definitely keep it in the mix with the manual razor!

Usually it takes a few shaves to see the potential on an electric shaver, but with the Braun Series 5, the first time I tried it it was awesome, left my face feeling like if I was 13, and smooth! Its a great Electric shaver! I was used to round electric shavers but this one is even better by being linear. Great gadget!

I needed to quickly change to the long hair trimmer (sideburn), as I had a couple of razor pulls on my face. I was surprised as to how fast the trimmer warmed up and I could feel it on my skin. I have used many Brauns razors and haven't experienced that sensation before. Maybe it is because the trimmer in this model is small.
I love the size and ergonomic features in this razor. It is easy to hold and handle. On my second shaving experience with only one day of growth it performed well. I am sure as the razor and face adjust together it will only get better.
I thought the head was a little weak in quality, but since I don't know what the price is for this razor it is possibly a cost saving feature. I do like that is has a lock feature on the head where by you can lock it while traveling. It charged up with the cord quickly. I cannot comment on the charging station as I did not receive that item.
With all this said, it is a nice razor, not of the quality of the older Braun razors that I have had in the past, but it would be a nice for travel or first-time user razor. It does shave nice and close. I also like that this razor has a two year warranty. It is nice that it is a wet/dry razor. If you generally have a heavy beard like face after two days, you may want to try another model of Braun. But for the average user it will be just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this razor, from the time I unpacked it from the box. It's easy to use and very easy to clean. It gives me the close shave that I desire and the added long hair trimmer is great for trimming my moustache and side burns. Once you fully charge the razor the battery life is good for 3 or four days. The included travel bag makes it easy to pack for trips or just storing at home . A great product.
