The product is good, however, when you cook a food which is sour like Cranberries etc the steel inside the cookware turns black. This normally does not happen in pure stainless steel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality product, but watch out for the lids

I have never had a brand new set of pots and pans before, and took a lot of time to investigate the best option for me and my family. I am impressed with the quality of the product, but was disappointed to find out that the lids get hot enough that you need an oven mitt to touch them - my husband got burned the first time we used them. We assumed that even though they are metal handles, that the lids would be heat-protected. The handles of the pots and pans do not get hot, so we assumed the lids wouldn't either.

Really impressed! Totally non-stick. I didn’t really believe it, but it’s true! Heavy for even cooking, not too heavy for lifting.handles don’t get hot. Wish the covers didn’t get hot either, but a small price to pay.
