Awesome set, bigger pots have challenges.

I bought this set 6 months ago and while yes, there is a learning curve, they were working beautifully until I went to unload my dishwasher that ran in a normal cycle and discovered my 8qt stockpot had split in the walls of the pot and was extremely upset. However, upon doing a bit of research seems that this is common for this pot and there are a few posts in Reddit with it. Seems like a manufacturing issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear about the issue with your stockpot. To help prevent damage, we recommend hand washing larger pots and avoiding high-heat dishwasher cycles, as rapid temperature changes can sometimes affect performance. Our team would be happy to review the issue and discuss possible solutions. Please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference Ticket #8900559109 for assistance.
Purchased this product 6 months ago. Love them. I knew when I purchased them that learning how to use them properly would be part of the fun. A great set of cookware.
It's a very good product. Exactly what I expect from cuisinart. I've had them a year and haven't been disappointed. I love the versatility, sear on the stove toss in oven to finish. The larger pans are great for 1 pot dinners. 2 of mine do have manufacturer defects which is why I gave 4 not 5 stars but don't affect performance. Since these are composite do not put in dishwasher or soak the entire pan in water. Stainless steel cookware is the way to go. Better performance than nonstick and less maintenance than cast iron. This is best budget option I have seen.
Absolutely everything sticks to these pans. Potatoes, eggs, you name it - the worst pans I’ve ever had. I’ve tried “seasoning” with oil and cooking in ample amounts of oil. I would not recommend.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the 77-17N stainless-steel set and appreciate you sharing your feedback. Stainless steel requires preheating the pan before adding oil and allowing food to naturally release once properly seared, as adding food too early can cause sticking. We would be happy to walk through detailed cooking tips to help you achieve the best performance from your cookware. It is good so far, nothing sticks, handles don't get hot, now the tops can according to heat you cooking on but you don't need to cook on high with these, medium heat works great for cooking with these. Lots of sizes for all things to cook, Love the big skillets hard to find them that size in a set.
I got this set as a gift from my mother for Christmas less than 2 weeks ago and I went to use my 3 qt saucepan for the second time time and noticed it has a scratch where the non stick coating is completely gone and a ring around the pan from the lid. I am disappointed as I expected more from Cusinart. My last set of pots and pans were Rachel Ray and they were much more durable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
