I bought this set as a Christmas present to myself. I am a personal chef and have used Cuisinart pans for many years.The pans cook evenly and can go from stovetop to oven. The last set that I purchased had a copper lining, this set has aluminum. Because of how well they conduct heat there is no reason to cook on a high temperature. They are heavy pans, great for making candies. I use many types of cookware and Cuisinart is one of my favorites.

I bought a set of this cookware about 18 months ago. Here's what it does well: heats quickly and cooks evenly, and has cool-to-the-touch handles. Here's what it doesn't do well: Non-stick pan - even when using oil or spray stuck sticks to it. Other pans: even using oil or cooking spray- EVERYTHING sticks to the pan and you cannot use anything harder than a fingernail to remove it or it scratches. PLASTIC scrubbers scratch, hard water discolors it, burnt food permanently discolors it. POTS - these still look good because they boil or steam things mainly. But, pasta/rice/starches will stick and then it takes much effort to clean. Our previous set of pots/pans from the 1980's still worked better than these with easy cleanup. Don't waste your money.

I love my new cookware set. But the 3qt sauté pan has scratches on the handle. It’s not a big issue for me but given the price of it I did not expected to receive a damaged product.

I read great reviews about this product and was really excited to get it for a wedding gift. I just feel like everything sticks to these pans and we tried to heat up a raw tortilla shell in the pan and it turned the whole pan a brownish looking color and I can't seem to remove it with any cleaning aids. Every time I cook eggs in the small frying pan they stick to the bottom! No matter how much butter I use. I'm just disappointed for how much money these pans are.
