The set replaces one that I had for over 15 years. Love everything about the pans in this set. The set had most of the pans I was looking for and a few extra. Pans are very well and clean well. They also keep their shine if cleaned as directed and metal utensils not used on them.

This set is repacing a set of Farberware stainless steel clad aluminum pans I received at a wedding shower in 1962. When they finally wore out, I wanted something of comparable quality. When the 13-piece set of Cuisinart pans arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. They are extremely well made as well as attractive. Their heftiness inspires confidence. They cook evenly and, if you follow the directions for immediately soaking, cleanup is a dream. Looking forward to 50+ years of happy cooking with these!

So far so good on this cookware. If you are weak don't buy it though as it is heavy. Heat distribution is good. I don't like the way the haze forms after being cleaned. I don't like having to use a special cleanser to get rid of this haze.

This set is wonderful. We upgraded our stove, and our old cookware set was just not heavy/durable enough for the higher heat output. I went back and forth between this set and A.C. and just couldn't justify the additional expense. The pans are heavy, heat evenly and clean up well. I have not tested them in the oven, but feel certain that they will cook just as well as my LeC braiser. I added the 8", 10" and 12" non-stick skillet that match. Great set, if you're looking for an upgrade.
