Quickly heats up and looks amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is by far the nicest cooktop I have ever had. It looks perfect with my granite and cabinets and the style is modern/sleek. The knobs are super-easy to use and help you quickly light the appliance. I like that they change color when the appliance is on so I know that gas is coming out of the line.
The middle burner puts out a very hot and high flame. The other day I needed to boil a small pot (about 2 cups) of water and it came to a boil in about 3-4 minutes. I personally don't like to cook on the middle burner but use it to starts boiling pots of water and move them to a side burner. I can't wait to purchase a wok and be able to cook stir-fry with the accompanying attachment for the middle burner.
The grates are easy to remove which makes cleaning simpler. The surface is easy to wipe down and clean.
I also like that the cooktop connects to my SmartThings app. It was very easy to connect. And I can look on there to see if a burner is on or off. Because ours is gas, you can't turn it off or on with the app.

Bringing the Heat, with Style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is awesome and puts my old one to shame. I love to cook on a natural gas cooktop, but I didn’t realize the poor heating performance of my old cooktop that the builder put in. It starts with center burner that’s rated at 22K BTU which heats up anything rather quickly, including large pots of water. My mother-n-law came over and wanted to start to boil a 6-Quart pot of water 30 min before she needed it, we kindly told her we just needed 5 min using our new giant burner. She was amazed, and it’s the same feeling I had when I first used it. The left burners are perfectly matched to the heavy-duty griddle Samsung includes with this cooktop (Props to Samsung for including such a nice, high-quality piece) and also put out a generous amount of heating power.
Overall, the design is elegant and sleek and looks great next to our new Samsung Wall Oven in the same finish. Stainless black is definitely the new standard in modern kitchens, once you see it in person, it’s hard to image anyone wanting anything else. The knobs blend nicely with brushed nickel cabinet handles in our kitchen and the blue LED light looks very modern. I first I thought the blue LED light for the knobs were just for aesthetics, but they are a very nice safety feature, as you an easily tell if you left a burner on from across the room. The WiFi connectivity allow it to connect to my SmartThings App where I can check to see if any burner is on. I can always verify no burner is on, which is extremely helpful when I have to rush out of the house and don’t remember if I turned off the burners or not.
My experience with installation through Samsung’s partner XPO was also excellent. They called to schedule a time, gave us a 30 min reminder before they arrived, and arrived promptly within their time window. This is our third time using XPO to install our Samsung appliances and they are always very cordial and professional and make quick work of the installation. On word caution, my builder’s cooktop that was installed previously was only 19 in. wide, while this one is 19 ½ in. I was able to get the whole enlarged to accommodate the Samsung cooktop prior to installation.

Great performance and easy cleanup!

I love the stainless steel cooktop and find it very easy to keep clean. The burners cook perfectly, with very heavy duty cast iron grates. The blue-lit knobs let you know a burner is on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful gas cooktop. Comes with griddle and wok attachment. Fingerprint black stainless steel is truly a marvel. Makes clean a snap. Center burner is 22k which is amazing for a home cooktop. Brings water to a boil FAST. The WiFi and Bluetooth are nice touches but I won’t have a use for it. Basically tells you if unit is on

Great gas cooktop!
