My first 5 burner stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first 5 burner stove. The placement of the burners are excellent. We use all of them depending on what im cooking. The blue light on the knobs are super useful. With my previous stove I use to wonder if I turned off the stove or not, but with Samsung, there is no confusion, it is very clear, when light is ON, stove is ON. I am surprise by how fast I am cooking things now, I am serious, the cooking is faster, not sure how, but it just works. My wife is very happy, she doesnt have to be in the kitchen for long time. The center burner is the highlight of all. It was dual burners, one for large pans, and other one does the simmer, we use that the most. This stove also connects to the Smartthings. I have it connected to my stove. We cannot control (ON or OFF the stove - obviously thats a super scary thing), but can monitor which burners are ON. Also there is a self diagnostic feature that tells us, if there is any issue with the appliance. I don't have the compatible hood, if I had, that would be awesome, because this stove can communicate with the hood, and automatically turn on the hood and light when the stove is ON. Thats a great feature. I hope to buy the hood very soon. Stove also came with a cast iron griddle, I have used it once to make burgers and patties, it turned out super. I had spilled food when cooking and some oil too, but I was able to clean it with a cloth very easily. I also washed the grille in the dishwasher and it came out as brand new. Overall, the quality of the product is exceptional. I like it and my wife loves it.

Nice stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like the 5 burners and the look of the stove but it’s VERY DIFFICULT to clean. We’re used to wiping our old stove after every use but the grates are too heavy for me to lift and the grease just doesn’t come clean. The center burner had a gold covering which started peeling within the first month which makes it look terrible now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Much happier efficient cooking experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung 5 burner stove top is absolutely amazing! I’ve never owned or even used a 5 burner stove. I definitely have a much happier efficient cooking experience each and every time.
First, the 5th burner is a huge plus. I thought it would just be a perk to have an extra burner to cook food. However it’s more than that. The flame is large on the middle 5th burner. Large flame makes cooking speed increase and equals more efficient cooking. If I need heat quick for faster cooking, I use that middle burner. My pasta cooking is definitely done on this burner. The water heats up in no time. My kids like the maruchan brand soups and the water heats up in half the time. My hot water for my teas heats up fast so I get my tea ASAP without having to be away too long from my kids who constantly are fighting when left alone for too long.
Secondly, this stove top cane with a cast iron griddle. It is amazing on big breakfast days and burger days. I’ve made pancakes on this griddle and it has been a blessing to be able to cook more in less time. I could have pancakes going while also cooking the sausage and bacon. More output for my impatient kids that want their food quick if they are already sitting at the table. No more dibs on the next pancake or burger. Everyone pretty much gets their food at the same time. It is so beautiful to be able to eat quicker myself instead of at the end.
Lastly, the LED knobs are not only super cool and aesthetically great looking, but they basically let you know from far away if the stove is still on or not. With my old stove top, I used to send one of my kids or have to eat up myself to walk close up to the stove to check if the burner was still on after cooking tortillas. I say tortillas because that’s the only time I leave stove on in case someone else wants more tortillas. Now, I can see before entering kitchen if I left stove on.
Absolutely amazing stove top! I am so in love with it! It is definitely an upgrade that is well worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon installation i was already excited to get cooking. The look is very sleek and modern. A beautiful touch is the blue illuminated knobs. Wow! We all know we have a favorite burner, mine is the center one. I love cooking soups and sauces in the center. The setting is so accurate i have been able to control even the simmer. Sautéing meats has become a breeze. I now realize why i missed gas so much. Cooking is a pleasure. The rest of my family enjoys using the plate to make breakfast all day. Eggs and bacon anyone?! I would highly recommend this cooktop. Oh did I mention how easy it is to clean, bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had been looking for some time and really We really liked this model. Love the blue lights in the knobs. It has performed very well. Have not used the wok or blue tooth feature so far, so no comments on that yet.
Not thrilled with the marks that frying pans leave on the grates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung gas cooktop dual power burner is a great quality durable cooktop, the three grates are heavy and clean easily. The accessories which are the wok grate and griddle are cast iron and also easy to clean, the stainless steel finger resistance is a plus.
The features are something unexpected the bluetooth auto connectivity connects with the hood and is located under the left knob to monitor and control the hood. The wi-fi smart connect allows you to monitor the operating status and power settings of the cooktop, both smart connect and auto connectivity can be accessed through the smartThings app through your phone.
This cooktop is more efficient than my old cooktop, it boils water in no time and I am able to cook food a lot faster. The blue illuminating light gives an elegant finish to the cooktop and I have had multiple compliments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great Gas Cooktop, favorite part is the 22K BTU Dual Power Burner with Blue LED Illuminated Knobs, makes this cooktop look very unique and high-quality, the 5 burners makes it easy to cook different things at the same time, love how the middle i can use my Wok and the griddle wow, great quality, heavy and looks awesome. The Black Stainless Steel makes it look really elegant and also makes it easy to clean, Love it and highly recommend this cook top from Samsung, wife is so happy with this cooktop, happy wife happy life!

Perfect for wok cooking

Additionally, extra heat is perfect for high temperatures needed to sear steak to perfection. Could not be happier with this great Samsung product!
