Unit was part of the builder package when we bought the house in 2022. It is our first gas cooktop after years of electric ranges and what a difference. Gas allows so much better control and the variations of different outputs from the different size burners is amazing. The heavy grates are solid and keep pans above the flames. Taking the grates off for clean up is easy and I use the griddle all the time for pancakes and French toast.
Only mistake I made was cleaning the stainless steel with some scratchy cleaning pad and left a few abrasive spots.
