Great system

I found the Cat5e wiring was too flimsy and was not sure if it was UV protected. I bought 500' of cable and connectors and installed the cams. These new connectors use all 8 wires for future updates compared to the cable in the box using 3 wires. They work awesome. Just wish they had a wider angle other than 93d. Operating instructions are confusing with over 100 pages.

Great Addition To Rob You Blind

Bought this system as a home warming gift to myself had cameras installed and low and behold nvr doesn't even power on great system to spend money on as well as camera installation for a piece of crap right out of the box brand never never used. Unfortunately I didn't get the extra in-store warrant neither can get customer support from swann you make great reliable crap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Swann offers a one-year warranty provided a copy of your receipt or 18 months with valid registration. Outside of this timeframe, we are unable to process a replacement free of charge. Based on the information provided, you may now fall outside of our warranty dates or do not have a copy of your receipt. You can contact our support team for recommendations on what you can do.
I bought this system to replace my old camera system. Not happy with this system. They is no instruction manual for it to set the setting. you have go on youtube. The camera angle is not good, but good picture. You can not see anything but about ten feet wide. Swann needs to put some instructions on their website.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In an effort to reduce the amount of paper waste, we no longer provide hard copy manuals. Although they are still accessible in PDF file and can be printed at your leisure. Please see the link below.
This is currently the largest viewing angle we have for compatible cameras at 93 degrees. We look forward to soon incorporating more compatible options.

I Expected better

it's overprice,my lower price Swan CCTV system better then this one.It would be better if we can view it on PC then just mobile phone.

Hello, The NVR is able to be viewed through a PC. You must download the compatible program for the NVR (HomeSafe View). We have the program available for Windows and Mac computers. Please view the link below for the compatible app. https://www.swann.com/us/apps

Doesn’t Flip or allow adjustments

Had a 3rd party install all 8 today; only to find out they installed them upside down as NOWHERE does it state these cameras cannot be flipped in their setup.
Only by searching these reviews did I find this out; absolute joke & scam of a product
Swann please advise a software solution or will be reporting product to the regulating bodies
