Highly Disappointed, I can't use any of the features that is written on the box

I have just installed this system. Yes very quick and easy to instil. However as soon as I try to use any of the systems features I am sent 1000x push notifications a day even once all the cameras are set on the lowest sensitivity settings. The motion detection zones do not work and the system is still picking up traffic outside of the red boxes and zones. The PIR I picking up a bird that is flying above out of picture and sending me push notifications every 30second for things that are not there. I then set up line crossing only and even with nothing passing over the lines the system still sends me push notifications. The only way to stop my phone from buzzing every 30seconds is toi turn off all the features that I wanted this system for.
WHAT IS THE POINT OF OWNING THIS SYSTEM?
Can you please update the firmware or something to fix this? I really wanted this system to do everything it said it would on your videos and on the box, yet it can't do a single one of them.
PLEASE HELP !!!!!!

Based on the information provided your unit may require an adjustment of the settings to better suit your security scenario. PIR sensors work optimally when the camera is mounted around looking down somewhat and the subject of detection passes across their front. The more the object must "cross" the front of the camera the better the detection reliability. When placing your camera try to avoid situations where the subject would move straight toward the camera if possible

I replaced my home security from an earlier Swann SWDVK-451002 All-in-one 10" display and recorder unit with only 4 x 480TVL cameras. I decided to up the quality and areas I could see and the online viewing from phones is a bonus. The ease of installation ,anyone with a little know how on the tools can install the system. The quality of the images and night vision is amazing as we have a 24" HDMI monitor to see everywhere on our property.

Excellent video quality. Easy setup. Overly complex operating system complicates viewing recordings. Errors and conflicting instructions in 106 page manual vs. actual system. Making a change to one setting sometimes results in unanticipated changes elsewhere.

Not all it's cracked up to be

The head sensing is useless. I'm constantly receiving false alarms - probably 100+ per day. So I pretty much just ignore them now meaning I'll miss a true alarm if there ever is one. If I adjust the sensitivity lower then it doesn't trigger alerts when people actually walk past the camera.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear the issues you are suffering from thermal detection. There may be some additional settings to adjust that may lower the alerts you receive. We recommend speaking with our 24/7 technical support team. They are able to go through the system settings with you and recommend changes that may resolve the issue.

Replace old with new 4K and amazing clarity

I had an old SWDVR-91425H unit which after 24 x 7 continuous operation for nearly 10 years the hard drive appeared to fail. Now upgraded to 4K vision and the view is now amazing. As nerdy as this sounds after installing I watched the cars go by to look at the detail that was being captured.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great system which you can setup yourself without much technical know how. The performance is on par with high end commercial grade unit and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Great system

We installed this easily and we are extremely happy with this product. The picture is so clear and concise even in the dark. Although we found the instructions a little hard to understand and needs more operational instructions. We feel so much more secure knowing we have this sytem in place now. We are going to buy additional cameras.
I would recommend this to a friend!

System works very well but questionable durability after 9 months

I bought this system back in 11/2019 and the system worked very well until last couple of months. I had 2 out of 4 camera failures, one camera got water condensation inside the lens and the second camera just stopped working completely overnight. I am working with Swann to exchange defective equipment under warranty but it is installed on my second home abroad which makes it very difficult to troubleshoot and exchange hardware.
I am quite concerned on how reliable it is and how long will it at last after warranty expires.
