I bought this system as a replacement for an older Swann system.. I tried another brand first and had nothing but trouble . I sent it back and ordered the Swann. I find the pictures on this system to be great in the daytime but weak at night. I am very happy that I got the power over Ethernet version. It is much easier to install than the coax systems. The NVR is almost silent which is also a plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have upgraded to this System about a month ago, easy to set up, but a lot more technical that my older one, but I am not very tech minded. Great picture & zoom

The hardware as in the DVR and cameras is very good. Stable and well built. But the software and website are diabolical! The on screen menu is basic as they come. You have to constantly log in and let me tell you that really gets old fast. Also I come here to find out the power consumption of the DVR and the supplied cameras and I can not fine this standard information anywhere, its just a poor show really. Also the firmware updates and few far apart. Oh and the dam thing is connected to my router and it can be controlled and viewed remotely however when you use the OSD and check the internet connection it has a bug and says that the DVR is not connect to the internet. One last thing the thermal cameras are fantastic during the day but at night you may as well turn them off. Just not enough power in the lamps and the images are very blurred and grainy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this several months ago. Added two dome cameras. I have been calling support about one camera, they keep telling me to try something and call back. Always the same results. One camera freezes s as bout the same time every day or so on my monitor, yet it records like normal and also shows on app like normal. Who can I speak with about this. I have purchased several Swann systems from home to work security. Please help me past this one hurdle. It is not right. Thank you in advance.
