Even salmon smell goes away

My wife and I have cooked salmon our whole lives. And it always stinks up the joint. Until now, that is. Moved into a new house last month and fired up the salmon in the oven for the first time. Started to smell fish when my wife yells at me to turn on the fan in the hood. I had no idea there was three fan settings. Put it on high and the fish stink was gone. Just like that. Will we eat more fish now? Yes. Should we? Probably not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This hood does a great job removing hot air from our new 6 burner Monogram stove top! Haven't gotten to cook yet, but can't wait till these beautiful appliances are trimmed in and ready to go...

I was replacing a previous GE vent which I was unable to get repaired. It was 14 years old and parts were not available. This one fit in the space so I did not have to change a custom cabinet.vThe hood works well and I do like the remote control which my previous hood did not have.

Quiet and great ventilation

This vent is amazing. Quiet and does a great job. My dream was always to have a vent to the outside. It really makes a huge difference and no more food smells in the house. Only issue is it’s too quiet and sometimes we forget to turn it off!
