Quiet and efficient range hood

Really enjoying our new vent hood. Does a great job of quietly extracting all of our cooking fumes and gas from the range top. Easy to clean filters collect more grease and grime than I'd expected (which is a good thing). Only issue is we've been unable to get the WiFi connection to work. The WiFi connection process is pretty clunky compared to all of our other GE Monogram appliances. Good news is of all of our appliances the range hood is the least important to have WiFi so not a big deal.

Nice unit but install was harder than necessary...

Product performs well. Major concern is the fact that the filter units are resting on a 1/8 inch "shelf" that could easily allow it (with cleaning or vibration) to fall out and land on my expensive GE Profile glass induction cooktop. I tried magnetic tape to no avail and will now be tapping a screw through the back of each filter element and into the grease pan behind it. Also the installation instructions need some updating and detailing, including the fact that it is not clear which direction the included rectangular duct should go, not clear that there is protective white tape on the filters, and not clear how to load the grease trays, etc. Much has to be deciphered through additional work and trial and error. Also, had to call GE top find out how to initiate the Chef Connect function with the existing cooktop- did not see any instructions for the details of that. Seems to be doing a good job and does synch with my cooktop so lights and fan come on, although not sure if Delay feature can be programmed into the Chef Connect or not. Lighting is bright. Operating buttons and their designations are too small to be readable and placed in overhead position, so I use the remote provided rather than crane my neck and get my reading glasses. With all that said, it looks good and seems to be doing a good job with cooking odors from an induction stove.

Stellar Overhang Hood!

I love this hood. I think it is awesome too that it comes with a remote control. How handy is that?
It is also easy to remove the overhead filters to clean!!!

Excellent ventilation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been a very short time since we’ve had the vent installed, but so far we have found it to be very effective in removing stove smoke and heat as well as extremely quiet.
