[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for nice cold water from your new refrigerator, save your money and get a Britta filter and pitcher. In fact, that is what the repairman told me when he came out after I called about the water coming out of the water dispenser at room temperature. I am very disappointed as I drink water regularly throughout the day and like it cold. My old refrigerator was till dispensing ice cold water after 20 years of use but was starting to need repairs on other parts of the refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great small refrigerator

We needed a smaller refrigerator for our kitchen layout yet we still wanted a French door style. This refrigerator offered us the style we wanted and was able to fit in our small space. Having the water on the outside was a nice bonus as well.

Refrigerator problems

After Andre noticed the unit was plugged in, he reassured me that it was already fixed. He then explained how the unit operates and left me feeling a sense of relief

Whirlpool brand not what it used to be

I have a hard to fit space so it’s really the only option I have with the water station in the door, which was a must have feature when I purchased. Unfortunately after only a year, my first fridge broke down and had to be replaced with a brand new refrigerator, which resulted in using a cooler for a month. So far the new fridge is working okay but the jury is out if it will last. I expect my appliances to work without issue for at least 10 years so was pretty disappointed. I bought a whirlpool dishwasher at the same time that also has to have a major component replaced after only a year, luckily I can still use the dishwasher while I wait for the repair. So while the appliances work, they are great, but not sure I could recommend the whirlpool brand at this point due to my experience with their new appliances in this past year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
