[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1 1/2 months old. Enjoying most features expected bottom freezer. Split shelf for tall bottles is very handy. Having issue with water dispenser. Believe water should be refrigerated. Currently not.

30 inch Wide French door refrigeratior

I bought this in Sept 2022. It was manufactured 7/2002. I purchased it because I had a Whirlpool previously that lasted over 20 years. Boy did I make a mistake. This one stopped cooling at the top the day before Thanksgiving (2025). We didn't realize it until Thanksgiving day. The freezer is freezing but the back wall where the vent is has frost on it. I have done troubleshooting, as has my grandson, who is an HVAC tech. I have been trying to get in touch with Whirlpool via phone and chat to find out where the coils are located (not at the bottom in the back). I have called three different numbers and tried to chat twice. Each time after I have put in my info, I get a message that I have reached them after normal business hours (phone and chat). It is now 10:09 am and I have been calling since 7:53 am CST. I will now post on thumbtack for a technician and forget about Whirlpool. I will, however, see if I can contact them via facebook and post another review. The new refrigerators are definitely not like the old ones and the customer service isn't either. I will not be buying another Whirlpool. I'm surprised and disappointed, but it's getting to be normal these days. And this is not a good refrigerator for a family--not enough space, especially for tall cartons.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice looking init

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerators storage drawers are very lightweight and come out of their track. Adding rear leveling devices would benefit the leveling process.
