Very poorly designed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The inside of the refrigerator was VERY poorly designed! You can't put more than a couple of tall items (bottles of liquid, etc.) In it unless you completely remove an entire shelf, leaving you with even less storage room. The vegetable drawer brackets are so flimsy that you can't put much in the drawers otherwise the tracks bend and the drawers fall out. The ice cube tray barely holds any ice cubes and the freezer space in general is extremely tiny. I'm am so very disappointed in this refrigerator. I would NOT recommend buying it.

Horrible Refrigerator- DO NOT BUY

Horrible refrigerator, the compressor failed after three months. The factory warranty covered a repairman to come out to fix it, but I lost an entire refrigerator and freezer worth of food in the process with no reimbursement from Whirlpool. Embarrassing that their appliance would fail with only a few months of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolute Garbage

This refrigerator before two years old broke down and here I am months later still with the same issue. I purchased a Whirlpool Extended Warranty and they cancelled my warranty due to personally feeling my claim is “fraudulent”. I have a toddler I stay home and care for and have to live out of a little fridge in my garage since this awful fridge doesn’t work at all. Repair men have been to my home 4 times and we still have no answer. Do not purchase Whirlpool. My brand new Whirlpool dishwasher went out a month into owning it as well. Whirlpool is cheaply made and their customer service is terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice features for small space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like the refrigerator. I thought the freezer and the refrigerator door storage would be more than it is. I have trouble finding space for tall soda bottles and some condiments. The adjustable shelf helps. We had to buy the refrigerator sight unseen. It was about the only refrigerator with an icemaker, water filter, black/black stainless and 30". This refrigerator 3 cubic feet smaller than what we had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our refrigerator stopped cooling (both freezer and fridge after 7 months. We called to see about getting it fixed/ replaced and someone was supposed to come by Friday afternoon. Nobody showed and there was no communication made to reschedule or to even let us know they weren't coming. I have to wait to call until Monday to see if we can get someone to come out. Which means one of us is going to have to miss work again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful but mechanically flawed

Love the look and set up, but it has a couple major flaws. 1) The water dispenses at an angle, not straight down. Can be messy when filling up a water bottle. 2) When the water shuts off after filling the ice trays or a water bottle, the motor makes a loud clunk that reverberates through the pipes in the house. I've had two service calls about it and both times they said it was a design flaw and since there were no bulletins about it from Whirlpool, they couldn't do anything about it. I even had a water hammer reducer put on the water pipe and that didn't work. When filling the ice at night, the motor shut of CLUNK! wakes us up in our bedroom a floor below. We have to pause the ice maker each night before bed. That noise did not happen on my last fridge, a Maytag. 3) When opening the freezer drawer, the ice tray shut off arm gets pushed up to allow the drawer to open past the ice tray. Often, it scoops up a cube or two that then drops either behind the drawer or it rolls out under the drawer and onto the floor. Happens all the time. Looks like we are stuck with either a lemon or a bad design so buyer beware on this model.
