Size and features we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month ago. It is identical to one we previously purchased less than six years ago. The same model functioned well. Unfortunately, the hinge at the bottom of the right door failed and could not be fixed. We were very disappointed as we expected the refrigerator to last much longer than six years. Everything else about the refrigerator was fine and still working well except the door. It is just two adults who used the door so it was not abused and should not have broken. The appliance dealer said they just saw another one with the same door failure. Rather than replace the door, which was expensive, we decided to buy a new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good features but some problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the shelves, size and set up of the refrigerator, but its noisy and loud. The bottom drawer in the fridge is poor design top self is getting stuck difficult to slide, we have greased it. The door has to be pushed hard to close. My other problem is I expected the water to be cold out of dispenser, what is the point of paying extra. I do love the lighting inside!

Perfect Size/Features for Our Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted a refrigerator that was smaller so that we wouldn't have to remove the cabinets above it.This one fit perfectly. We love the in-door water dispenser and having the freezer on the bottom so we don't have to bend over as often. I do wish Whirlpool would make it so that the plastic wrapping would come off easier from around the handles. And someone needs to verify alignment of the doors; there's a slight mismatch in these double doors, one is slightly higher than the other. And the cost of this refrigerator is a lot higher than other comparable units; I wouldn't have bought this because of the cost if there had been other units in the same size.

Ice maker only makes enough for 2 glasses

This frig came in a Whirlpool suite of appliances with a new condo I bought. Nice looking, water in door is handy, nice amount of frig space. Really disappointed in the the ice maker. It makes only enough ice to fill 2 glasses each day. The bin never gets more than about 10-12 pieces per 24 hours. I've tried adjusting the freezer as the manual suggests. Simply don't understand the problem. If you're going to have guest, you must have a bag of ice on hand. This frig is pretty pricey and to not actually have ice production is absolutely nuts. Would never pick this model again.

Slow water from the door that’s hardly cold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have it about 2 weeks. so far I like it.It is small enough to fit in the space I have. Smaller than the refrigerator I had. Still trying to organize.Not putting milk on door or eggs. Really get it cold I put it up as far it will go. They need another shelf. Really can not put tall bottles on doors I like my drink cold. Ice working great but they should have a smaller ice container for it. If I had room would buy a little bigger refrigerator Water is cold. See what happens after being used for a couple of months. Would be nice if companies would make just refrigerator without the extras.
