Nice unit, needs some extras to be top notch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great refrigerator for the size. Needed to upgrade from our older fridge. Enjoy access to water from the front and ice available on hand. Family is pleased with the outcome. Initial cooling was a bit of concern as the only fan (motor) for cooling is in the lower middle area within the freezer. After a few hours the fridge had comparable cooling and using the quick chill option did its job. No problems to speak of at the moment. Ease of access to change cooling for both the fridge and freezer on the front is nice. Alarm for open doors is a great feature. Already signaled the first day with the teens in the house. Display is simple, elegant and notification status of filter is a nice add on that makes life simpler.
I rated four stars as I think there should be a booster fan in the transfer vent from the freezer to the top for better effective cooling. The gaps into the upper fridge area are minimal and the internal the liner (foam) was uneven to the opening which had some inhibition to the cooling. Also, the upper cooling opening had very little flow rate barely felt any transfer during operation. Quiet unit, could use a higher CFM fan to push more air into the cabin area. Ice maker is a bit stubborn in the freezer area. The basket is in a great spot. The amount of ice produced is adequate. In the first few weeks maybe one row of ice cubes for the entire day. After the cabinet cooled ice dropped more frequently. Noticed that ice produced within the cycle is fine, if interrupted between dump and water fill by grabbing ice tends to stall the next dump by about an hour. After each cycle is completed on regular intervals the ice maker performs as expected.

Great Fridge - Recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this Fridge about a month. It is totally awesome fridge. The shelves are easy to come out and move. The shelf you can push below is a great idea. I get something little taller, I move the hide a shelf down and I have more room for taller items. The water dispenser works perfect and easy to get water out. The controls are also on this, fridge temp and freezer temp etc. The freezer has a ton of room and freezes quicly and stays cold. The ice dispenser is quiet and makes a lot of ice. Highly recommended.
