Looks Great, Works Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My whirlpool refrigerator works well, looks good and I’ve had no issues with it. However, if you really want to know satisfaction, ask me in 3 years. I do love the icemaker and the filtered water dispenser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second same model refrigerator. My first lasted 11 years. We chose this model because of the 30 inch width and our space availability and the water spout in front. The doors don’t always close tightly even though it is new and the inside crisper drawers slip off the tracks easily. It keeps the temperature but you must leave space in front of the vents or it will freeze your food in the rear of the refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Missed the Mark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a couple of weeks ago and I am very disappointed. The shelves are not split in the middle so when you lower the top shelf to accommodate taller Items the middle shelf will only fit containers that are about 4 inches tall. The Ice maker is very slow. The temperature adjustments are by snowflakes instead of actual degrees. There's 5 snowflakes for the freezer and refrigerator which makes no sense because at 4 snowflakes in the fridge setting the temp is around 38 to 40 degrees which is too warm especially in the summer when warm air from opening and closing the door will raise that temp to over 40 degrees. Setting the fridge to 5 snowflakes makes cold spots where the food freezes. It would be nice to have an actual temperature setting in degrees. The in the door water dispenser drips after use. The freezer has an ice bucket that takes up half the top of the freezer tray which I find odd considering this refrigerator is only large enough to hold food for two people. How much ice do you need for two people? The French doors do not open enough to make it easy to remove the shelves. The humidity adjusters on the drawers are cheaply made and slide back and forth freely with no resistance to hold the setting. The devil is in the details and the details in the refrigerator were not well thought out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't express enough how much we hate this refrigerator; the design is awful. the tilting drawer on the left door quickly wears out and flops every time you open the door; we have since taped it shut. If you happen to be cleaning the fridge, it will warn you that the door is open, but if you happen to not violently slam the door shut, it will not warn you that it is partially open still. Any vegetables or fruit stored in this fridge will probably freeze, if you turn down the temperature enough that the Milk in the door does not rot. We have taped shut the cooling port in the drawers. I am not really a fan of the pull-out bottom freezer. The old swing 0ut door with internal baskets were way better. There is hardly any space in this freezer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
