Works well but wonky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge failed within a week of having it. The water stopped running then the ice stopped being made. It took about 1.5 wks to get a service call. The problem has since been resolved but we are hoping for no more problems with that. Also the left door is hard to close because of it's design. We always have to make 100% sure it's closed tight. Sometimes we think it's closed then 5 minutes later the door lock goes off.
With that said, we love the features of this fridge. We love the water dispenser and ice maker. Having the freezer on the bottom instead of the top is very convenient and there is plenty of room up and down.

Finally found this Whirlpool, 30in. wide,20cu. ft. beauty. Amazing how much it can hold. My choice was perfect, I love it!

Concerns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I looked and looked for a fridge that I would like and would fit into my small space, I am concerned with the bins/tracks being so cheaply made. One bin (from the first day) does not close, and the other comes off the track. From day one! It is very disturbing to me that something that costs as much as this did, is not made to last for even a few years possibly. It makes me very hesitant to buy new appliances, for sure. Stick with the old as long as you can!

Just what we wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit fits our space perfectly. We like the shelf options, the finish and the drawer space. We would have liked that the doors and freezer were self closing but you don’t get that with a French door. The doors came with aplastic covering that appears to have been put on at the time the steel was made. it’s really hard to remove. We’re still picking it off along the edges!

It has given us frustration
