The freezer broke within a few months of purchase

I purchased this refrigerator April of 2021 and summer of 2021 there were several instances where the freezer thawed and then the ice machine broke shortly after. I called whirlpool at least 3 times and was disappointed with each conversation. I don’t understand how while under warranty, they couldn’t do anything to fix it. So I spent $2000 on a fridge with a broken freezer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plenty of space for a single family.

The water pressure on the door not adequate

Problematic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Poor quality. The 1st one delivered lasted 10 days before the compressor failed. We were told it would be 3 weeks for a new part. We lost most of our food before Menards agreed to deliver a replacement unit. The replacement has a terrible squeak in the right door which I can’t figure out how to fix .

Black stainless French door frig

I was a little disappointed though because it arrived with several small dents. One on the side and several in the back by the compressor. So far it a affected the performance but for what I paid it should've arrived in perfect condition especially coming straight from Whirlpool. Time will tell...

Small fridge with Big Fridge Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge with a suite of appliances. It made a very high pitch noise anytime the compressor came on and then it would make a loud running noise and a clunk every two minutes for about 20 seconds and would produce no ice. Hours later the contents of the fridge were getting warmer and the freezer started to thaw. Thankfully where I bought it from had another fridge in stock and they replaced it within days.
Pros:
- the finger print resistant coating is amazing. It really works and is easy to clean
- the ice maker works amazing and the size of ice is very good
- the water outside the fridge is a nice feature for such a small fridge
- we do like that it's only 30" and has so many good features included; air filtration, shelf that will fold into a half shelf, ice and water.

Cons:
- other than having the first one die (sometimes you get a melon)
- there are too many shelves in the right hand door and you have to take out a shelf to fit in your milk and juice. If you put it on a fridge shelf, you would have to adjust the one shelf to 1/2 so the height could fit and you would not be able to access what was behind it without moving the milk and juice. I opted to remove one of the shelves on the right hand side and problem solved.
- placement of the big shelves within the fridge needed to be adjusted too to accommodate larger sized jars. Not a real problem, just something to note
- finishing on these fridges are funky. the trim pieces show glue or a beige crust. Don't even know what it is
- they provide a door tool to make sure the door can be the same space in between from top to bottom but no matter how much we adjust the level on the fridge or the doors, we couldn't get it perfect. The space is either off or the doors I crooked. We opted to have the space off a bit.

Overall I do like the fridge. It holds a good amount of food, there's adequate freezer space and I would recommend this for anybody who has a tight space, wants a small fridge that has some big fridge features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fridge is a month old now. I really like the tilting bin in the door for the gallon milk jug. Since it tilts out you are able to easily remove and replace the jug without needing extra room to lift it out of the bin. The crisper drawers are roomy and keep the produce fresh for a week longer than my previous model.
