Love my frig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my refrigerator. I have been thinking about it lately though. Our water here has an awful amount of calcium and I have been cleaning off all my kitchen appliances. I wonder how this will affect my water in the fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Whirlpool is one of only two, maybe three modern brand name appliances that are feature packed, yet only 30 inches wide. Incredible! My last Whirlpool side by side was simply too wide to fit, worked perfectly, never gave me trouble, so of course I replaced it with this one. I ❤️ the feature letting you remove moisture so food isn't wet & soggy. The LED lighting is perfect. The shelves sliding back or tilting outward increase height space and ease to get things out. The freezer has sliding shelves to access what you need easily. The stainless steel finish wipes fingerprints or stains very easily. I like this refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have only had a month but so far really nice water stopped working after 3 days but think must of froz turned up temp setting and 2 days later was working again and still going strong stays very cold have icemaker in bottom freezer works great also like the layout of shelves and bins very nice and very happy with would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new refrigerator a few weeks ago. I am very pleased with the ice maker and the water dispenser. I would however prefer the that the light in the refrigerator be placed on the sides. When you have stuff on the top shelf it blocks the light in the rest of the refrigerator. Also you only have one area for tall items and that is on the 2nd shelf. I would prefer that the shelves would have been more adjustable in height. Also not pleased with the plastic material that the shelfs are made of. I do like the performance of the refrigerator. It seems to make ice regularly and keeps things cold.

Fails at it's most basic function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this fridge for about 3-4 months. When set to the standard three snowflakes, the fridge is the correct temperature (high 30s), but items in the crisper freeze (my digital thermometer shows 29 degrees in crisper). When I set the temp to two snowflakes, crisper items are fine, but fridge overall is too warm (low 40s). I called the repair service about this, and they told me this is a known issue with this refrigerator and there's really nothing that can be done about it. They can replace the thermostat, but it likely won't make any difference. Since the most basic function of a refrigerator is to cool items properly, I can't give more than one star.
Other pet peeves are noise (the fan runs about half the time and is noticeably louder than my prior fridge) and the water dispenser, which works fine but dispenses water at room temperature. Shouldn't the water be cold?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
