Poor quality workmanship

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really disappointed in the quality of my refrigerator. There was glue all over the top, I’m just hoping that the glue holds. The finish seems to have come off in that corner. Even the Whirlpool logo is crooked, for goodness sake! It took 3 months to get it and they still just slapped it together.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Frig.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I left all the settings the same as factory settings. I followed directions for filters. I had to install the waterline myself but that was fairly simple. I also followed the recommendation of another review to leave a few inches of space down the middle of the fridge to allow air flow and proper cooling. Everything is working great. No freezing or warming because I left it at the factory settings. Limited space is what I was expecting with this refrigerator although it fits more inside it then I was planning on. Taking off the handles on the top refrigerator doors to get all the protective plastic wrap off is easy and I recommend that. However, don’t try it with the freezer handle. On our frig it was impossible to get the handle off. Do the best you can by peeling carefully around the handle on the freezer door. Hope this helps. I definitely recommend this refrigerator if you have a limited space to fit it in. .

Needed repair after 6 weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of a sudden, my freezer drawer would not close all the way, remaining one inch ajar. It took a week to get a repair person out. In the meantime I lost all my freezer food. The problem was a screw on the back rail that was not in all the way. Hopefully everything will be fine from here on out. I was very disappointed that whirlpool does not compensate for lost food.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A very good refrigerator
