Love this fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge and are really enjoying it! It seems to fit more than our last fridge that was the same size but designed differently. Two items I wish were better: 1) Door shelves height - if you want to store a carton of juice, you have to give up a door shelf & 2) I don’t love how the ice sits open to the other freezer items - wish it was somehow protected

Great features, but poor construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought almost a month ago and the freezer keeps getting off track when opening or closing causing it to stop freezing. Construction not sturdy; feels like it’s made from aluminum. I’m a little disappointed with Whirlpool.

Failed after 11 days April 2024.

Can’t be zero. Beware, the compressor went 11 days after installation. I was thinking it was a freak lemon thing, so I braved the reviews and ordered anyway. After all the review was for 2022 and it’s now 2024, right?
Wrong. No compressor. More food wasted. Worst experience a few more thousand down the drain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our refrigerator in July 2024 and the compressor has already failed. The repair Rep told me it was a common problem as Whirlpool was constantly changing the design of the compressor due to failure.
We lost almost all of our food in the refrigerator and freezer. Very disappointed that it is also taking more than two weeks to repair. Thank goodness for the 20+ year old refrigerator we kept and put in out garage that is still running like a CHAMP!!

I wish we could return this fridge, its the worse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even on the lowest temp setting the refrigerator will freeze your produce. If it's on a shelf or in a drawer either way it freezes and has to be thrown away. The left door only closes if you push on it hard because of an indoor feature it has to prevent moisture. Thus you can never close the door how you normally would on a fridge you have to close it then push it the rest of the way with force. I wish we could return this fridge, its the worse fridge we have ever used or owned.

Frustrating!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to size restrictions in my kitchen, I was limited to this particular style of fridge, and unfortunately most brands in this category have a very similar design. While the fridge works fine in terms of cooling and reliability, there are a few design flaws that make it frustrating to use on a daily basis.
Cons:
Shelving layout: The shelf design makes it very difficult to organize items. There isn’t much flexibility in adjusting shelf height, and the spacing doesn’t accommodate taller items without sacrificing a lot of usable space elsewhere. It always feels cluttered, even when the fridge isn’t full.
Lighting: The interior lighting is poor. It doesn’t illuminate the entire fridge, leaving dark areas in the back and on lower shelves. It’s surprisingly difficult to see what’s inside.
Crispers: The crisper drawers are poorly designed. One drawer is 3/4 size and the other is much smaller, which makes the smaller crisper almost useless. A 50/50 split would have been far more practical for everyday use.
Ice maker: The ice machine is slow to produce ice, and the ice tray level is smaller than what I had in a previous fridge of the same size. It makes noticeably less ice, which is disappointing.
Pros:
Fits into tight spaces where other fridge styles won’t.
Cooling performance has been reliable so far.
Overall:
This fridge meets the bare minimum in terms of function, but the poor shelving design, uneven crisper drawers, weak lighting, and underperforming ice maker make it a frustrating appliance to live with. Having owned a fridge of the same size before, I know the design can be much better — this one just feels like a step backwards.
