Right size for small space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our old fridge finally bit the dust we wanted to replace it with one that had a freezer on the bottom but didn't think a 2 door would fit in a small space. This one did and we are pleased with it. Plenty of room in the two doors, a bottom pull out drawer that is wonderful for isolating potentially messy meats, two produce drawers, an adjustable shelf for tall items and a shelf on top for leftovers. We even added a small pull out plastic drawer for easy access to cheese & packaged dairy products. The bottom freezer saves our backs and is plenty roomy. A simple water dispenser in the door works fine and the ice maker is so convenient. Thumbs up on this Whirlpool.

Buyers Beware

I just recently purchased a Whirlpool French Door Refrigerator. I loved the style of it. I had it for a few weeks and started having problems with it. It is still under the 1 year warranty, so Whirlpool sent an appliance repairman to work on it who has not been able to fix the problem. The problem has only gotten worse. This is a huge amount of money to spend on a piece of junk. The store where I bought it will not let me return or exchange the refrigerator. This is a real nightmare!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some changes needed

I bought this fridge last week. I found it you close both doors and the flap seal on the left door is in the wrong position, it appears the doors are closed but they are still open and the color alarm doesn't sound. The doors could be ajar for days and alarm doesn't activate. Another issue is the doors don't have enough insulation, the metal on the outside feels almost as cold as the inside. I'm sure because of that it must need to run more because of the temperature loss through the doors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We really like the dimensions

we don't have that much room to play with in our small kitchen; so 30" wide was just perfect. and the new colors we paint the cabinets are just the perfect match for this refrigerator.

3rd time is a charm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd whirlpool refrigerator I had delivered. Hopefully #3 is the charm. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and so far all is well. The first that was delivered had a terrible burning smell to it within a couple of days. Returned it and a week later another was delivered on a Saturday and on Wednesday again burning smell and it started smoking on the inside . 1 week later had Another delivered so far no trouble. Almost went with an LG. After 2nd time .

Perfect fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally after years of having the wrong size fridge in my kitchen, I have a perfect fit. We’ve always had a side by side with water and ice in the door. This is my 1st French setup. It’s perfect in every way. I love being able to see everything in the fridge at a glance (only drawback is I can’t hide special snacks in veggie drawer from the hubby lol). The filter in veggie drawer is helping with keeping things fresher and longer lasting. I especially love the Split shelf I can make taller things fit in a pinch.
The freezer section is interesting. The ice maker is on the top section. I lose a little room there but it’s good. I can see what I have and there’s plenty of space between the remaining upper area and the nice 2 sections underneath. I’m quickly filling them up with our daily used items.
The outer stainless steel stays clean and the water dispenser is easier to use than our last fridges.
I’m happy with my purchase and I can’t wait to get the matching convection oven next. It’ll be my 1st convection oven.
