Love the freezer on the bottom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our new Whirlpool in August. I love it. Love the French doors and the freezer on the bottom. I would have liked it to be a little bigger but we had size requirements in our space that didn't allow for that. I couldn't be more happy with my fridge. Whirlpool is always the way to go for us.

Very nice smaller refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, a negative on Whirlpool's warranty: The warranty starts when you purchase the product, not when it is first installed. We were having a new house built. Our builder expected to install the appliances in November 2019, so we purchased them in October. Due to weather and other delays, the house was not completed and appliances not installed until January 2020. We lost 3 months of warranty coverage while the appliances sat in storage.
We began using this refrigerator in January 2020 after it was installed in our new house. I works fine but is noisier than we expected. We have to turn cooling in the upper section all the way to max to keep food cool. The reason we purchased this refrigerator was because we wanted a small (more apartment sized) model that was stylish and nearly fully featured - this was the only refrigerator of any brand that fit the bill. It's just the right size for two people.
We really like the fingerprint resistant black stainless steel. The overall look, fit and finish are good. We're just not sure about long term reliability since we've already had a mechanical problem with our Whirlpool dishwasher (What's the connection? Refrigerators and dishwashers both have lots of mechanical parts.), so we added an extended warranty.

Nice, but have a few issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The "half shelf" for tall items is too small. Would have preferred a full shelf that stores tall items such as milk or juice bottles. Water that comes out of water dispenser is only slightly cool (50 degrees). I like my water colder than that, so ended up putting a water pitcher on the already crowded half shelf.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
