Problems with Ice Maker and poor customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker makes very little ice. Good luck getting in touch with customer service. Eventually repair man came and the situation is worse, now it makes no ice at all. Coordinating a new appointment is a nightmare. Are they hoping that I will get tired and the warranty expires?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOOKS GOOD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old one died so needed to get one immediately, I got Whirlpool as I had to have a 20 or 22 cu ft. due to location in kitchen. The fruit and veg. drawers do not close properly and the veg drawer stuck on 7/10/20. We had to push it from the rear after removing the fruit drawer. I will /not be able to live with this. Technician is coming on Tues 7/14 to sort this out. Also I took a premade salad out of the top shelf and the lettuce was frozen. I have not touched any dials and it is as they installed it. So you see I am justifiably not happy yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very happy with this refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for a few weeks now and I’m very happy with it. I wish there were a little more room in the freezer but I had to buy a smaller model because of space restrictions.

Reliable but small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this one because old fridge died. The repairman recommended Whirlpool, and this was the only model that fit the small space in my kitchen allowed for a fridge, with an icemaker and water dispenser. It seems to work well. Veggie and fruit drawers and lunchmeat drawer are very spacious. Even the shelves in the door hold more than expected, which is good since the shelves are configured in an odd way, that only allows one space for tall items, with 2 small shelves behind that space, which means you have to move the tall things to get to the small back shelves. Also, anything sat on the top shelf blocks the light, and anything put near the center in the back (near the fan) will freeze. Beyond that, it functions well, just having a hard time making the available spaces work. Also, the ice maker is slow. We are always running low on ice. The bottom freezer is very spacious and also holds more than my old fridge/freezer combo.
I would recommend this to a friend!
