[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: It’s slightly deeper, narrow profile fits exactly into the space we needed it to go. The fingerprint proof finish is great. I really like the refrigeration drawers for cold cuts and veggies are a good size and the sliding shelf, which makes room for taller soda bottles etc is clever and works well. I actually ended up really liking the simpler design of the ice maker and haven’t been inconvenienced by manually retrieving ice when we want it; it seems to keep the ice fresher and more odor-free than our former, more elaborate fridge. Ultimately, I do like this configuration better than a side by side.
Cons: it is quite a bit smaller than our other fridge (which we still have in our “man cave”) and the space would be difficult with a family or if we didn’t have backup refrigeration. I wish there were more ways to configure the door containers and that at least one were larger to hold a gallon of milk. One door handle is set about 1/4” higher than the other but my hubs Is handy and was able to minimize that.
Overall: Fitting it into a specific place was a huge factor for us and it fits the bill. We knew there would be “growing pains” with getting a smaller overall fridge so no surprises there. Whirlpool products have always been good to us and this one is no exception. We are happy with our purchase

some problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had refrigerator for about one month. Came with freezer light cover laying in the freezer. Cannot get it to go on and nobody seems to know what to do about it. Starting dripping water on gasket when door opened. Turning on a heater stopped it but uses more energy. Also, now freezer is getting ice in it and is difficult to diagnose why.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Shelf that allows taller bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought to fit in a confined space which it fits great. I love the freezer on the bottom. I think that the drawers could be sturdier because one has already slipped off the track twice. The drawers don't close tightly. The ice maker doesn't make ice unless you make sure the wire is at 6. I love the shelf that tips up and in to allow for taller bottles. It does run a little louder then I expected. It runs as loud as my refrigerator that was 29 years old. Love the space in the bottom freezer.
