Not so good ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Whirlpool Refrigerator for the bottom freezer. But what we did not know is that the ice maker is more trouble than it is worth. We had a repair man come out from whirlpool to check the ice machine and he changed the unit but added that the metal arm that goes up and down when it dumps ice was to long and reaches into the ice tray and hits the ice which stops it from making ice. VERY POOR DESIGN.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice makes stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a week ago. It’s is a very nice looking frig but the ice maker and water dispenser stoooed working after 5 days. I am currently waiting on a repairman to come look at it. The earliest the repair man can come is a week from the day I called. Needless to say I am not happy about my purchase

DO NOT BUY - See below

Fridge lasted 48 hours. Cold settings at default (3 snowflakes) had a top temp of 58 degrees at the top, and 41 at the bottom. Temp setting maxed out it's 42 at the top and 32 at the bottom. Different parts of the fridge items will either freeze or spoil. Bottom shelf (just above the drawers) in the back gets coldest, froze a beer. I have service coming in a few days and will update based on their findings. But given these findings I can't imagine what they can fix that would take care of a 14 degree variance.

DID NOT LAST SEVEN YEARS

I own the exact same refrigerator, Whirlpool changed very little, and it lasted 6.5 years. Now the refrigerator section does not cool, or sometimes it does. I remember when refrigerators lasted decades. And there refrigerators are not cheap but Whirlpool makes them in Mexico anyway.

French door refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are pleased with the refrigerator, bought it for the water in the door. When it came the produce preserver case was broken. Called, was told they don’t make replacements, how ridiculous. So it just lays in the drawer because it can’t be attached as it should. Not a big deal, but not as it should be.

It can be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It freezes food that is on the fruit and vegetable drawers, had issues with the water dispenser the technician had to visit 4 times before getting it fix. Disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has exceeded all of my expectations being a WHIRLPOOL. I simply LOVE IT AND WOULD NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER BRAND, i have been faithful to Whirlpool for 47 years they never let me down I just upgrade every 10 years. The lighting, shelves, bins and door holders are PERFECT as well s the freezer compartment. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the ice bin, I actually think it should have a cover and not be wide open when the freezer is open. It is very quiet and it holds so much in every compartment, believe me you will NOT be disappointed!
I would recommend this to a friend!
